Charles Sammy L'Heureux was born on 5 Feb1911 in Batiscan, Québec. He was married to Simone Baril on Jun 4 1938 in Trois-Rivières, Québec. He died on April 20, 1997 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec. Simone Baril was born on 30 Oct 1913 in Les Grondines, Québec. She died on 20 Dec 1965 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec. They had 2 children, Jacques and Louise. [Wedding picture]

THIRD GENERATION

Donat L'Heureux was born on 29 Jul 1887. He was married to Antoinette Dumont, daughter of Norbert Dumont and of Adeline Lafontaine, on 7 Jan 1909 in Batiscan, Québec. He died in Oct 1974 in Cap-de- la Madeleine, Quebec. Antoinette Dumont was born on 25 Apr 1890. She died in Sep 1966 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec. FOURTH GENERATION

Telesphore L'Heureux was born on 15 Apr 1860. He was married to Brigitte St-Arnault, daughter of Narcisse St-Arnault and of Josephte Baribeau, on 3 Oct 1881 in Ste-Thècle, Québec. They had 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl.

FIFTH GENERATION

Cyrille L'Heureux was born around 1841. He was married to Eleonore Trottier, daughter of Antoine Trottier and of Marguerite Tousignant, on 19 Feb 1855.

SIXTH GENERATION

Valere L'Heureux was born on 23 May 1807 in Batiscan, Quebec. He was married to Reine Rivard dit Lacoursière, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Rivard dit Lacoursiere and of Josepthe Rivard, on 9 Aug 1831 in Batiscan, Québec.

SEVENTH GENERATION

Pierre L'Heureux was born on 25 Jul 1766 in Ste-Genevieve-de-Batiscan, Quebec. He was married to Angelique Gervais, daughter of François Gervais and of Marguerite Brousseau, on 6 Feb 1797 in Ste-Geneviève de Batiscan, Québec.

EIGHT GENERATION

Louis L'Heureux was born on 5 Mar 1737 in Batiscan, Quebec. He was married to Brigitte Rivard, daughter of Pierre Rivard and of Jeannette Dubois, on 26 Oct 1761 in Batiscan, Québec. They had 8 children, 3 boys and 5 girls.

NINETH GENERATION

Joseph L'Heureux (Lereau) was born on 10 Apr 1706 in Ste-Famille de l'Ile d'Orleans, Québec. He was baptized on 11 Apr 1706 in Ste-Famille de l'Ile d'Orleans, Québec. He was married to Catherine Viel, daughter of Pierre Viel and of Madeleine Trottier, on 28 Jan 1732 in Batiscan, Québec. They had 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl.

TENTH GENERATION

Sixte Leureau was born on 9 Oct 1667 in Ste-Famille de l'Ile d'Orleans, Québec. He was baptized on 10 Oct 1667 in Ste-Famille de l'Ile d'Orleans, Quebec. He died on 12 Aug 1717 in Ste-Famille de l'Ile d'Orleans, Québec. ELEVENTH GENERATION

Simon Lereau was born on October 10, 1624 in the parish of Saint-Martin in Igé, Orne, France. He died on 12 Nov 1670 in Québec, Québec. He was married to Suzanne Jaroussel, daughter of Pierre Jarousseau and of Jacquette Touraude, on 27 Nov 1655 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Québec. He died on 12 Nov 1670 at the Hotel Dieu, Québec City, Québec. They had 7 children, 2 boys and 5 girls.

Simon emigrated from France (Pays de Loire) to the "Nouvelle France" around 1652. He came from St-Cosme-de-Vair, Maine, a city now known as St-Cosme-en-Varais (Sarthe) . He most likely sailed from La Rochelle. 

He spent his early years in the Côte de Beaupré, probably at a place still without a name, St-Anne-de-Beaupré. The first recorded event is his marriage contract - a celebration at the time - to Suzanne Jaroussel, daughter of the late Pierre Jarousseau and of Jacquette Tournaude, de Perigny (Charente Maritime), East of La Rochelle.

TWELFTH GENERATION

Rene Lereau. He was married to Marguerite Guillin (Guillemin). They lived in Igé, Orne, France and later moved a few miles South to Saint-Cosme-de-Vair, Maine in Pays de Loire. They had 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl.
