• Félix-Gabriel Marchand was born on 9 Jan 1832 in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, St-Jean, Quebec. He was married to Marie-Hersélie Turgeon on 12 Sep 1854 in Terrebonne.  He died on 25 Sep 1900 in Québec, Quebec.

 

SECOND GENERATION

• Gabriel Marchand was born on 21 Nov 1780 in Québec, QC.  He died in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, St-Jean, Quebec.  He was married to Mary Mcneider on 6 Oct 1810 in Québec, Quebec. Mary Mcneider died on 23 Apr 1855.

THIRD GENERATION

• Louis Marchand was born in 1757 in Québec, Quebec.  He died in Barbados.  He was married to Françoise Roussel on 15 Sep 1778 in Québec, Quebec. Françoise Roussel was born in 1747.  She died in 1834 in St-Luc.

FOURTH GENERATION

• Joseph-François Roussel was born on 3 Jun 1699 in Québec, QC.  He died in 1758.  He was married to Marie-Madeleine Gauvreau on 17 Jan 1730 in Québec, QC. Marie-Madeleine Gauvreau was born on 18 Nov 1711 in Québec, QC.  She died in 1758.

FIFTH GENERATION

• Pierre Gauvreau was born on 7 Apr 1674 in Québec, QC.  He died on 4 Feb 1717 in Québec, QC.  He was christened in Profession: maître armurier.  He was married to Marie-Madeleine Mesnage on 23 Nov 1705 in Québec, QC. Marie-Madeleine Mesnage was born on 1 May 1686 in Québec, QC.  She died in Québec, QC.

SIXTH GENERATION

• Nicolas Gauvreau was born about 1648 in Dompierre-sur-Yon, France.  He died on 20 Jan 1713 in Quebec City, Quebec.  He was married to Simone (Barbe) Bisson on 13 Jul 1668 in Quebec City, Quebec. Simone (Barbe) Bisson was born on 29 Dec 1654 in Quebec City, Quebec.  She was baptized on 30 Dec 1654 in Quebec City, Quebec.  She died on 12 Mar 1722. 

SEVENTH GENERATION

• Gervais Bisson was born in 1601 in St-Cosme-de-Vair, Maine(Sarthe), France.  He died on 31 Jul 1674 in Quebec City, Quebec.  He was also called "Gervais le vieux" to differentiate him from his son "Gervais le jeune" and always wrote his name as Bisson.  He was married to Marie Lereau in 1635 in St-Cosme-de-Vair, Maine(Sarthe), France.  Gervais and Marie moved to Canada and became the ancestors of all the Bisson in America. They apparently traveled on the same boat as Marie's brother, Simon Lereau, the ancestor of the L'Heureux in America. Marie Lereau was born in 1622 in St-Amand, Charente, France.  She died on 13 Sep 1687 in Quebec City, Quebec. Marie was the sister of Simon Lereau dit L'Heureux.

EIGHTH GENERATION

• Rene Lereau was born about 1600 in Maine or Perche, France.  He died between 1629 and 1689 in Maine or Perche, France.  He was also known as Rene L'Herault.  He was married to Marguerite Guillemin-Guillin about 1620 in Maine or Perche, France.  Marguerite Guillemin-Guillin was born between 1584 and 1607 in Maine or Perche, France.  She died between 1629 and 1695 in Maine or Perche, France.
